Tashinga Bvekerwa

Tashinga Bvekerwa is an Associate in Emerging Africa who holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law with Business and a Master of Law (LLM) in Information Technology & Intellectual Property Law from the University of Sussex in England. She also completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with distinction from BPP University in London before returning to Zimbabwe where she recently completed her legal conversions. As a “third culture kid”, Tashinga has lived in six countries including Singapore, Kenya, Nigeria and England and due to her enthusiasm towards travel, has visited plenty more. As a result, she has a very international perspective to solving local problems. Tashinga has gained experience in commercial law particularly Mergers & Acquisitions, Regulatory and Compliance and Banking and Finance however, having specialised in Data Protection and the GDPR, Tashinga is keen to provide counsel, leadership and guidance on Data Protection best practices as Africa increasingly goes digital.
